Living With Scars

Hey guys, I wanted to share a quick video (it’s only a minute) with you that we made the other day for a class we’re doing: http://youtu.be/IFPu-V9Hfo4.

Let me know what you think!

I had a question the other day about scars.

Scars are a natural part of your body’s healing process.

A scar results from the biologic process of wound repair in your skin and other tissues.

Most wounds, except for very minor ones, result in some degree of scarring.

Scars can occur as a result from accidents, diseases, skin conditions like acne, or surgeries.

Scars form when the dermis (deep, thick layer of skin) is damaged.

Your body forms new collagen fibers (a naturally occurring protein in your body) to fix the damage, resulting in a scar.

The new scar tissue will have a different texture and quality than your surrounding tissue.

Scars form after a wound is completely healed.

There are different kinds of scars.

Most scars are flat and pale.

However, sometimes your body makes too much collagen and those scars tend to be raised.

Raised scars are called hypertrophic scars or keloid scars.

Both of these kinds of scars are more common in younger and dark-skinned people.

Some scars can have a sunken or pitted appearance.

This kind of scarring happens when the underlying structures supporting your skin (for example, fat or muscle) are lost.

Some surgical scars have this appearance, and so do some scars from acne.

Scars can also appear as stretched skin.

These scars happen when your skin stretches quickly (for example, in growth spurts or during pregnancy).

In addition, this type of scar can happen when your skin is under tension (near a joint, for example) during the healing process.

Although scars can’t be completely removed, their appearance can be improved.

To deal with scars it’s beneficial to:

*Drink 6-8 cups of purified water daily.  Also, potassium juice and green drinks are recommended for fast tissue repair.

*Eat a diet high in protein (at least 100 grams) and vitamin- and mineral-rich foods.  These are needed for tissue repair and healing.

*Consider Calming Complex and Enfuselle skin care line.

*Consider Tea Tree Oil, Calendula cream, essential oils.

*Investigate complimentary alternatives (homeopathy, herbs, hydrotherapy, etc.).

*To heal scar tissue apply Enfuselle C+E Repair P.M.  (DO NOT apply C+E Repair on open sores.)

*Consider applying Vitamin E topically or purchase high quality Vitamin E Oil.

If you’re dealing with scars, try these (100% money-back guarantee):

It’s essential to use:  Vita-Lea, Protein, GLA (internally and topically), Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Enfuselle C+E Repair P.M.

It’s important to use:  Vitamin D, CarotoMax, FlavoMax, B-Complex, Zinc.
