Living With Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency

I had a question the other day about alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.

This is a genetic disease characterized by a lack of the protein alpha-1 antitrypsin in your liver.

This substance is used to break down enzymes in various organs of your body.

The disease can lead to hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver.

In addition, alpha-1 antitrypsin also protects your lungs from irritants together with an enzyme released by white blood cells.

If you’re deficient in alpha-1 antitrypsin you’re much more susceptible to lung disease, especially emphysema.

Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency most commonly appears in newborn infants and is characterized by jaundice, swelling of the abdomen, and poor feeding.

However, the disease may also develop in late childhood or even in adulthood with symptoms of fatigue, poor appetite, swelling of the abdomen and legs, or abnormal results on liver tests.

To deal with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency it’s beneficial to:

*Drink 10 cups of purified water daily to hydrate and flush toxins.

*Prolastin is used for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency in adults with emphysema.  Other treatment tries to control abnormalities and to provide your liver with essential nutrients.  Multiple vitamin supplements plus vitamins E, D, and K are typically prescribed.

*Avoid consuming too much salt or protein, and get protein from vegetable sources.

*Avoid large doses of vitamin A, niacin, and iron from supplements.  However, it’s fine to get these nutrients from food.

*Drink pure organic pomegranate juice daily.

*Consume 1/4 cup of tomato sauce or 3 medium-sized tomatoes per day.

*Herbs and herbal products beneficial for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency include butcher’s broom, cayenne, dandelion, hawthorn, and valerian root.

*Make sure your diet is well balanced and contains plenty of fiber.

*Eat fish several times a week.

*Eat plenty of raw foods.  For protein, eat broiled fish and skinless turkey and chicken, which are low in fat.

*Include garlic and onions in your diet.

*Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.

*Add raw nuts (except peanuts), olive oil, pink salmon, trout, tuna, Atlantic herring, and mackerel to your diet.  These foods contain omega-3 essential fatty acids.

*Don’t consume stimulants, like coffee and black tea, containing caffeine.  Also avoid tobacco, alcohol, chocolate, sugar, butter, red meat, fats, fried foods, processed and refined foods, soft drinks, spicy foods, and white flour products, like white bread.

*Keep your weight down.

*Avoid stress.

*Understand your medications and possible side effects.

If you’re dealing with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, try these (100% money-back guarantee):

It’s essential to use:  VitaLea, Protein, OmegaGuard, CoQHeart, Vitamin E, Vitamin DAlfalfa, GarlicVivix.

It’s important to use:  Vitamin ELecithin, Mental AcuityB-Complex, VitalMag, Vitamin C.

    Hi,
Thank you for the info really difficult for me to afford these fruits and herbs. Wish I could afford a air cleaner for my tiny house have adog and two cats. (My whole family) can’t get rid of them, on medicare and Michigan’s medicaid programs. Can’t even afford my own funeral I see coming soon. Have had late stage cold for 5 years now on 6-8lpm of oxygen. Keep going to hospitals with exacerbations, starting me on pulmonary rehab program. No family to help just me, quit smoking upon diagnosis and the cold foundations nic patches. Thank you copd foundation. Would you know of any way to get a air filtration system cheaply? Too many steroids and inhalers and pain meds changing what’s left of my life to someone I don’t recognize anymore. Extremely underweight nobody seems to give a darn. Sorry I have no right feeling sorry for myself here and thanks for the info. Sorry
