Living With Pancreatic Cancer
I had a question the other day about pancreatic cancer.
In 2014, it’s estimated over 46,000 people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
That’s about 1 in 76 people who will develop the disease.
Pancreatic cancer affects equal numbers of men and women, almost always after the age of 45.
Cancer of the pancreas barely makes the top 10 most common cancers in the U.S.
However, pancreatic cancer’s tendency to spread silently before diagnosis makes it the 4th deadliest cancer diagnosis.
Pancreatic cancer is classified according to which part of your pancreas is affected: the part that makes digestive substances (exocrine) or the part that makes insulin and other hormones (endocrine).
Pancreatic cancer occurs when cells in your pancreas grow, divide, and spread uncontrollably, forming a malignant tumor.
The exact cause of pancreatic cancer is unknown.
Smoking is the major risk factor for pancreatic cancer.
Cigarette smoking roughly doubles the risk for pancreatic cancer when compared to non-smokers.
While diabetes isn’t a risk factor for pancreatic cancer, the two have been linked.
Age, race, and family history are other risk factors for pancreatic cancer.
To deal with pancreatic cancer, it’s beneficial to:
*Drink 6-8 cups of purified water daily to keep hydrated and flush toxins, whether thirsty or not. Add Performance for electrolytes.

*Consider monitoring blood tumor markers and immune function markers.
*Consider thermography testing.
*Consult medical AND complimentary health professionals.
*Do everything possible to strengthen immune system and support ALL cellular function/strength.
*Detoxify, detoxify, detoxify.
