Living With RSV

I had a question the other day about RSV.

Respiratory syncytial virus infection, usually called RSV, is a lot like a bad cold.

It causes the same symptoms.

And like a cold, it’s very common and very contagious.

Most children have had it at least once by age 2.

RSV isn’t usually something to worry about.

But it can lead to pneumonia or other problems in some people, especially babies.

So it’s important to watch symptoms and call your doctor if they get worse.

A virus causes RSV infection.

Like a cold virus, RSV attacks your nose, eyes, throat, and lungs.

It spreads like a cold too, when you cough, sneeze, or share food or drinks.

There are many kinds of RSV, so your body never becomes immune to it.

You can get it again and again throughout your life, sometimes during the same season.

RSV usually goes away on its own.

For most people, home treatment is all that’s needed.

When a person with RSV is otherwise healthy, symptoms usually get better in a week or two.

RSV can be serious when the symptoms are very bad or when it leads to other problems, like pneumonia.

It’s very hard to keep from catching RSV, just like it’s hard to keep from catching a cold.

But you can lower the chances by practicing good health habits.

To deal with RSV, it’s beneficial to:

*Drink plenty of water, with Performance, to remain hydrated and flush toxins.

*Astragalus helps promote the multiplication of white blood cells vital for fighting infection (don’t take if you have a fever).

*Take vitamin C and zinc lozenges at the first sign of a sore throat or stuffiness in your head or nose.

*Sip hot liquids like turkey or chicken broth.  Drink Potato Peeling Broth twice a day – make it fresh daily.  You can add a carrot, a stalk of celery, garlic, and/or onions to your drink.  Chicken soup is very effective in relieving the worst of the symptoms and shortening the duration.

*Remain as active as possible.  Not only is staying in bed unnecessary, but it’ll probably make you feel worse.  Moving around helps to loosen built-up mucus and fluids.

*Wash your hands often, and teach your child to do the same.

*Explore the use of Tea Tree Oil and Oil of Oregano.

*Explore hydrotherapy.

*Increase essential oils (Omega-3, Flax oil, fish oil).

*Look into complimentary alternatives (homeopathy, castor oil packs, herbs).

*Consider fresh juicing.

*Investigate possible triggers/sensitivities.

*Decrease exposure to toxic products (cleaners, laundry, personal care, etc.)

*Avoid dairy, processed foods, caffeine, alcohol, smoking.

*Eliminate all refined sugar  products (it “turns off” the immune system).

*Become educated regarding all views and possible side effects of any vaccinations or flu shots.

If you’re dealing with RSV, try these (100% money-back guarantee):

It’s essential to use:  Vita-Lea, Protein, Defend and Resist, Immunity Formula, NutriFeron, Vitamin C, Optiflora, Garlic, Vitamin D.

It’s important to use:  Performance, Alfalfa, B-Complex, CarotoMax, FlavoMax, Zinc.

It’s beneficial to use:  CorEnergy, Calcium/Magnesium, CoQHeart, Stomach Soothing Complex, Gentle Sleep Complex.
