Living With Hypercalcemia

I had a question the other day about hypercalcemia.

Hypercalcemia is a condition where there’s too much calcium in your blood.

This can weaken your bones, create kidney stones, and interfere with the way your heart and brain works.

Hypercalcemia most commonly results from overactive parathyroid glands.

These 4 tiny glands are each about the size of a grain of rice and are located on or near your thyroid gland.

Other causes of hypercalcemia include cancer, certain other medical disorders, some medications, and excessive use of calcium and vitamin D supplements.

Signs and symptoms of hypercalcemia may range from nonexistent to severe.

You might not experience any signs or symptoms if your hypercalcemia is mild.

More-severe cases produce symptoms related to the parts of your body affected by the high calcium levels in your blood.

Examples include:

>Kidneys.  Too much calcium in your blood means your kidneys have to work harder to filter it out.  This causes excessive thirst and frequent urination.

>Digestive system.  Too much calcium can cause stomach upset, nausea, vomiting and constipation.

>Bones and muscles.  Usually, the extra calcium in your blood was leached from your bones, which weakens them and causes bone pain.

>Brain.  Too much calcium can interfere with the way your brain works, resulting in confusion, lethargy and fatigue.

Women in their 50s are the population at highest risk of overactive parathyroid glands.

Treatment depends on the underlying cause.

To deal with hypercalcemia it’s beneficial to:

*Drink 6-8 cups of purified water daily to hydrate and flush toxins.

*Eat plenty of the following foods:  broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, mustard greens, peaches, pears, rutabagas, soybeans, spinach, and turnips.

*Avoid dairy products for at least 3 months.  Also avoid stimulants, coffee, tea, nicotine, and soft drinks.

*Avoid fluoride and chlorine (filter your tap water).

*Avoid MSG and all artificial sweeteners.

*Avoid toxins, chemicals, pesticides, etc.

*Check adrenal function.

*Consider a liver cleanse.

*Investigate “hidden” allergies.

*The hormone communication system throughout our body is very complex and can easily be “thrown off” by various chemical influences.

*This “malfunctioning” in turn can affect numerous systems throughout your body resulting in any number of symptoms and/or weight issues.

*The spirulina coating on the VitaLea tablet contains essential nutrients to feed and support your thyroid and parathyroid glands.

*Eat food rich in iodine, like kelp and sea vegetables.

*Exercise, rebounding on a mini-trampoline.

*Research and address underlying Candida issues.

If you’re dealing with hypercalcemia, try these (100% money-back guarantee):

It’s essential to use:  VitaLea, Protein, B-Complex, GarlicGLA, OmegaGuard, Vitamin C.
